Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimation Engineer to join our electrical panel manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, supporting the quotation process, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and competitive project proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analise customer enquiries, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial quotations for electrical panel projects.
- Develop and verify Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Design and Procurement teams for technical clarifications, component selection, and pricing inputs.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and ensure accurate material costing.
- Maintain estimation records and support cost optimization activities.
- Assist in technical discussions with customers and project teams when required.
- Conduct site visits to understand project requirements and gather necessary technical information.
- Ensure quotations are prepared accurately and submitted within project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in electrical estimation or electrical panel manufacturing. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good understanding of electrical panels, components, and electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of SLDs, BOQs, BOM preparation, and estimation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel for site visits as required.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of estimation and costing processes.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel for preparing calculations and reports.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
