The M.Sc. Physics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality Physics instruction through an integrated curriculum that combines the CBSE syllabus. The teacher will develop students' conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while ensuring excellent academic outcomes.
## Key Responsibilities
### Academic Responsibilities
* Develop strong conceptual understanding rather than rote learning.
* Prepare yearly, monthly, and weekly lesson plans.
* Design engaging classroom activities, demonstrations, and laboratory experiments.
* Teach numerical problem-solving techniques and higher-order thinking skills.
* Conduct regular revision sessions and doubt-clearing classes.
* Integrate technology-enabled teaching methods and digital resources.
* Complete the syllabus within the prescribed academic schedule.
### Assessment & Evaluation
* Prepare worksheets, assignments, quizzes, unit tests, and model examinations.
* Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback.
* Analyze student performance and identify learning gaps.
* Plan remedial classes and enrichment programmes for students based on performance.
* Maintain accurate academic records and assessment data.
### Student Development
* Mentor students for academic excellence and competitive examinations.
* Encourage scientific curiosity through projects, seminars, and practical learning.
* Guide students in Physics Olympiads, NTSE, KVPY-level foundation (where applicable), and other competitive examinations.
* Promote inquiry-based and experiential learning.
### Laboratory Management
* Plan and supervise Physics practical sessions.
* Ensure proper usage and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
* Follow all laboratory safety standards and procedures.
* Maintain practical records and inventory.
### Parent & School Coordination
* Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
* Communicate student progress effectively with parents.
* Collaborate with fellow faculty members to ensure interdisciplinary learning.
* Participate actively in staff meetings, training programmes, and school events.
### Professional Development
* Stay updated with CBSE curriculum changes and competitive examination patterns.
