Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Production & Baking: Prepare and bake a wide variety of goods, including breads, cakes, brownies, and pastries, following standardized recipes and production schedules. [1, 2]
- Station Management: Operate and manage bakery machinery and equipment (e.g., mixers, dough sheeters, and ovens). [1, 2]
- Quality Control: Ensure consistency in the taste, texture, weight, and visual presentation of all baked items before they leave the kitchen. [1, 2]
- Inventory & Ordering: Monitor stock levels of baking ingredients (flour, sugar, etc.), conduct stock rotation, and assist superiors with ordering. [1, 2]
- Hygiene & Safety: Adhere to strict health, hygiene, and food safety standards to maintain a clean and organized workstation. [1, 2]
Essential Requirements
- Education: A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry-making is highly preferred. [1, 2]
- Experience: Proven professional experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or Demi-CDP in upscale hotels, central kitchens, or premium bakeries. [1, 2, 3]
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle bulk dough preparation, lift heavy supplies, and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
