Job Purpose
To ensure efficient management of store operations, inventory control, material issuance, repair coordination, stock verification, documentation, and compliance with company SOPs. The Store Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, minimizing material losses, ensuring timely reporting, and supporting maintenance operations through effective material management.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Ensure material is issued only against authorized MR Slips.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
- Conduct daily physical stock verification of Tyres, Oil, and Batteries.
- Perform monthly stock verification and submit reports to HO.
- Ensure all parts and materials are properly identified with part numbers.
- Monitor stock levels and submit monthly material requirements to HO.
Store Operations
- Ensure smooth store functioning in accordance with company SOPs.
- Maintain proper storage locations for all materials.
- Implement and sustain 5S standards within the store.
- Ensure no material is kept on the floor without a designated location.
- Maintain proper rack management and housekeeping standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Review excel reports from all shifts and submit consolidated reports to HO.
- Ensure daily completion of job cards.
- Send VOR (Vehicle Off-Road) reports and material requirement reports in the prescribed format.
- Submit Tyre, Oil and Battery reports, stock reports, tools reports, and other required reports within specified timelines.
- Verify that all invoices and transactions are properly recorded and closed in the software system.
Repair & Maintenance Coordination
- Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors for in-house repairs.
- Obtain approval from HO before sending materials for outsourced repairs.
- Ensure proper gate pass documentation and inward/outward entries for repair materials.
- Track repair status and follow up with vendors for timely completion.
Procurement Coordination
- Submit repair invoices to the Purchase Team for PO generation.
- Follow up with the Purchase Department regarding pending POs.
- Ensure POs and invoices are closed within the stipulated period.
- Coordinate with vendors for pending supplies and repair-related materials.
Scrap Management
- Segregate scrap according to approved categories.
- Maintain a clean and organized scrap yard.
- Ensure timely disposal of scrap as per company guidelines.
- Verify scrap generation against replacement and consumption records.
Asset & Controlled Item Management
- Maintain separate storage for warranty and guarantee items.
- Ensure Tyres, Oil, and Batteries remain under lock and key.
- Monitor material consumption and identify abnormal usage patterns.
- Report premature replacement or excessive consumption of materials to HO.

Educational Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Diploma/Degree in Materials Management, Automobile spare parts or related field will add an advantage.
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Store Management, Inventory Control, Warehouse Operations, or related functions.
- Experience in automobile sector will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
