Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and preparation of detailed engineering drawings for Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, and other process equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong design knowledge, practical engineering skills, and experience in industrial fabrication projects.
Job Title : Mechanical Design Engineer
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Cooling Towers, or Heavy Fabrication Equipment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solid Works, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, TEMA, IS Codes, and fabrication practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels and Process Equipment.
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM.
- Perform mechanical calculations and design verification as per ASME, TEMA, and relevant codes.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD, Solid Works, and other design software.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and project teams for successful project execution.
- Review customer specifications and prepare design documentation.
- Support estimation and proposal activities with technical inputs.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, inspection, and testing activities.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of pressure vessel and heat exchanger design calculations.
- Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ASME U Stamp projects.
