Job Description – Business Development Executive Intern

Duration: 3 Months Internship
About the Role
GBC Bengaluru is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Business Development Executive Interns to support our business development and event promotion activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to client communication, lead generation, corporate outreach, and business development processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact companies from the provided database through outbound calls.
- Introduce and explain the company's profile, services, and event details.
- Communicate the benefits of the free enrollment execution program/event.
- Inform potential participants that there are no enrollment or participation charges.
- Promote company events and encourage organizations to participate.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, responses, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with interested companies and provide required information.
- Meet daily calling, follow-up, and communication targets.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective clients.
- Prepare and submit daily activity reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Confidence in handling client conversations over phone calls.
- Basic understanding of business development and sales processes.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications is an added advantage.
Work Schedule
- Monday & Saturday: Work From Office (Bengaluru Office)
- Tuesday to Friday: Work From Home
- Working hours as per company guidelines.
