Job Description – Process Design Engineer
Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled Process Design Engineer to support process engineering, equipment design, calculations, technical documentation, and project execution for industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Perform process calculations and equipment sizing.
- Prepare equipment and instrument specifications.
- Develop process datasheets and technical documentation.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pressure drop calculations, and material balance.
- Coordinate with mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and project teams.
- Review vendor drawings, technical offers, and equipment documents.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Support process optimization and troubleshooting activities.
Required Qualifications :
- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Process Design / Process Engineering, preferably in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical, Water Treatment, or Industrial Projects.
- Good knowledge of PFD, P&ID, process calculations, equipment sizing, and process simulation.
- Knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards.
