Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing of cables, wires, and power cords as per applicable standards.
- Conduct electrical tests such as Continuity, Insulation Resistance, High Voltage (HV), Earth Continuity, and Leakage Current testing.
- Perform mechanical and physical tests including Tensile Strength, Elongation, Flexibility, and Aging tests.
- Maintain test records, reports, and laboratory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, IS, IEC, and customer quality requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory testing instruments and equipment.
- Analyze test results and report non-conformities to the Quality team.
- Support product validation, new product development, and customer approvals.
- Assist during internal, external, and certification audits.
- Ensure laboratory safety practices and adherence to testing procedures.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of cable and power cord testing standards and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical testing equipment.
- Understanding of BIS, IS, IEC, RoHS, and quality compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and test reports.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and documentation management.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in Cable, Wire, Power Cord, Electrical Components, or Testing Laboratory.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of quality systems and testing methodologies.
- Detail-oriented with excellent reporting and documentation skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
