Life Skills & Career Development Facilitator

Remote Districts of Uttar Pradesh & Chhattisgarh (Residential/Extensive Travel Required)
We are seeking passionate, energetic and purpose-driven professionals to join our team as Life Skills & Career Development Facilitators. The role involves working directly with students, teachers and school leadership to strengthen life skills education, enhance classroom practices and support students in making informed academic and career choices.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in school environments, are comfortable staying in remote locations, and are committed to creating meaningful impact in the lives of children and educators.
Key Responsibilities
Student Development
- Deliver engaging and experiential Life Skills sessions for students from Classes VI–XII.
- Facilitate activities that promote communication, critical thinking, emotional well-being, leadership, collaboration, resilience and responsible decision-making.
- Create a safe, inclusive and participative learning environment.
- Conduct student assessments and maintain learning records.
Teacher Observation & Coaching
- Observe classroom teaching using structured observation tools.
- Identify strengths and areas for improvement in teaching practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to teachers.
- Support teachers in integrating life skills into classroom instruction.
Teacher Professional Development
- Plan and facilitate micro-training sessions, workshops and demonstrations for teachers.
- Build teacher capacity in experiential learning methodologies, classroom management, student engagement and competency-based education.
- Share best practices and practical classroom strategies.
Career Guidance & Counselling
- Conduct career awareness and career guidance sessions for students.
- Support students in exploring career pathways aligned with their interests, strengths and aspirations.
- Administer career assessments where applicable.
- Counsel students and parents regarding subject selection, higher education and career planning.
Programme Monitoring & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of sessions conducted, observations and training delivered.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly programme reports.
- Collect photographs, videos and other evidence of programme implementation.
- Coordinate with school leadership and programme managers for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with principals, teachers, parents and community stakeholders.
- Represent the organisation professionally during school visits and meetings.
- Ensure smooth implementation of programme activities across assigned schools.
Essential
- Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counselling, Human Development, or another relevant discipline.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in Hindi.
- Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay in remote locations across Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
Preferred
Candidates with any of the following will have an added advantage:
- Certification in Life Skills Education.
- Certification in Career Counselling or Career Guidance.
- Degree or diploma in Psychology.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or teaching qualification.
- Experience working in K–12 schools, NGOs or education programmes.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
