Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in machine design and product development. The candidate will be responsible for designing Special Purpose Machines (SPM), automation systems, conveyors, fixtures, and industrial equipment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and SPMs.
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare BOMs and fabrication details.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and assembly teams.
- Conduct design calculations and component selection.
- Support machine installation and commissioning activities.
- Develop innovative solutions for customer requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
- Knowledge of sheet metal, machine elements, pneumatics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in industrial automation projects.
- Knowledge of conveyors, robotic systems, and machine design.
- Exposure to design calculations and FEA is an added advantage.
