We are seeking a motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage our client's cost control and quantity surveying activities throughout the project lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, oversee project costs, support procurement processes, and mentor junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare quantity take-offs, cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.

Evaluate supplier and contractor quotations against current market rates.

Conduct site inspections, measurements, and valuations throughout project execution.

Monitor project costs and report variances to project management.

Prepare interim and final payment certificates, including variations and additional works.

Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on all quantity surveying matters.

Support process improvements and provide practical solutions to project challenges.

Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveying staff.

Prepare progress reports and provide updates to senior management.

Carry out other duties related to the role as required.

Requirements:

MQF/EQF Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering (Quantity Surveying), or an equivalent qualification recognised by the MFHEA.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Valid Category B Driving Licence.

Clean police conduct certificate (issued within the last six months).

Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills.

Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate cost management support.
