* Housekeeping Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team and ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards. The role focuses on cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and efficient team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Assign daily duties and prepare staff schedules and duty rosters.
- Monitor room status and coordinate with the Front Office department for room availability.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Train and guide housekeeping associates on cleaning procedures and hotel standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Maintain housekeeping records, checklists, and reports.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering department for timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and hotel policies.
- Monitor linen, guest supplies, and housekeeping inventory.
- Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in hotels.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
Salary: As per company policy and candidate experience.
