Job Description: Accounts Manager
Reporting To: Executive Director
Location: Delhi
Role Overview
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s accounting and financial operations. The role requires strong knowledge of accounting processes, bookkeeping, financial documentation, vendor coordination, reconciliations, compliance support, and financial reporting to ensure financial discipline and smooth accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Finance Management
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
- Process invoices, expense statements, reimbursements, and payment follow-ups.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, MIS reports, expense trackers, and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and clients regarding invoices and payment status.
- Maintain records of petty cash, purchase entries, and operational expenses.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other compliance-related financial documentation.
- Coordinate with CA/accounting consultants for audits, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
2. Financial Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accounting records, invoices, agreements, vouchers, and financial documents in an organized manner.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial transactions and records.
- Support compliance documentation related to taxation and financial procedures.
- Maintain confidential records related to accounts, vendor contracts, and financial documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and other accounting-related reports.
3. Vendor & Payment Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and clients regarding invoices and payment status.
- Follow up on pending invoices, payments, and required financial documentation.
- Verify invoices and supporting documents before processing.
- Maintain proper records of vendor payments and outstanding balances.
4. Financial Reporting & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams for budget requirements and expense approvals.
- Support management with data collection, reporting, and financial tracking activities.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports, expense trackers, and reconciliation statements.
- Assist management in financial planning and process improvements.
- Ensure timely resolution of accounting and financial issues.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Attention to detail and time management abilities.
Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Finance or Accounts preferred.
Preferred Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in Accounts or Finance roles.
- Experience in bookkeeping, vendor management, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance coordination preferred.
CTC Offered
INR 3 LPA to 3.5 LPA
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
