Job Details :
Developing systems to account for the financial transactions by maintaining a chart of accounts.
Define bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Maintenance of subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions.
Reconciling entries to balance all subsidiary accounts.
Maintaining general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Preparing trial balance and reconciling entries to balance the general ledger.
Maintaining historical records by filing documents.
Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Making sure that everything complies to the legal requirements of the state and local bodies by studying the requirements and adhering to them.
Advising management on needed actions.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Ensuring smooth and easy functioning of finance management
Desired Candidate Profile :
Strong working knowledge of US, Australian and Indian financial sector.
Should have good working knowledge in Quickbooks, Zoho, Xero and Sage Accounting Software.
Certification in accounting preferable.
At least 2 years of accounting, Tax and finance experience.
Proficient in developing standards and analyzing information.
Ability to work in complex situations and problem solver with attention to detail.
Ability to make necessary decisions.
Flexibility to work extended hours to meet statutory and business deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Intelligent and sensitive to numbers.
Good presentation skills.
Must have strong work ethics and trustworthiness.
Must be highly collaborative and be a team player with a commitment to excellence.
