We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer to join our civil engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects while gaining valuable hands-on experience. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior engineers and project managers, contributing to various aspects of project development. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including site plans, drainage systems, and roadways.
- Support senior engineers in conducting site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies.
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation using software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Conduct field inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on design and construction methods.
- Maintain project records, reports, and documentation for review and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 2 + years of experience in civil engineering, internships or co-op experience preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
