The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by identifying potential customers, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing sales of solar energy solutions. The role involves meeting sales targets, managing client relationships, and promoting residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar energy market.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research.
- Meet with prospective clients to understand their energy requirements.
- Present and promote solar products and services to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and channel partners.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to renewable energy.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and business meetings to promote the company's services.
Qualification: Electrical Engineer/ MBA
Experience: 7- 10 yrs
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
