About the Role
AVW Global Transports & Logistics LLP is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results driven Sales Manager to lead business development initiatives within our Freight Forwarding and Logistics division. The ideal candidate will possess strong industry expertise, demonstrated sales leadership, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and long-term relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth and revenue objectives.
- Lead business development activities for freight forwarding and logistics services.
- Identify, acquire, and manage key customer accounts across target markets.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with prospective and existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in freight forwarding and logistics sales.
- Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, shipping, and supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing client portfolios and business opportunities.
