Job Summary
Bearys Institute of Technology, Mangalore is seeking a responsible and disciplined Campus Discipline Officer to maintain order, ensure student discipline, and promote a safe and positive learning environment within the college campus. The candidate will monitor student behavior, enforce institutional rules, and coordinate with management, faculty, and students to maintain campus decorum.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain discipline across the college campus
- Ensure students follow college rules, dress code, and code of conduct
- Handle disciplinary incidents and report violations to management
- Conduct regular campus rounds and monitor student activities
- Coordinate with faculty, administration, and security staff
- Counsel students regarding discipline and behavioral expectations
- Maintain records of disciplinary actions and incident reports
- Assist during college events, and assemblies
- Support anti-ragging and student safety initiatives
- Ensure smooth crowd management during campus activities
- Address student grievances related to discipline matters
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and monitoring skills
- Good communication and conflict-resolution abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally
- Observation and reporting skills
- Team coordination and administrative abilities
Qualifications
- Any Graduate / Postgraduate
- 3 to 5 years of experience in administration, student affairs, security, or discipline management preferred
- Ex-Serviceman, NCC, or security background is an added advantage
Preferred Qualities
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Firm but approachable personality
- Ability to manage large student groups effectively
Working Conditions
- Requires active movement across campus
