About the Company
We are a leading manufacturer of Laminates, Plywood, and Sunmica products, committed to delivering high-quality products through efficient procurement and supply chain management. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to strengthen our procurement team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, hardware, and other production-related items.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and negotiate the best pricing, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order placement.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and warehouse teams to avoid stock shortages.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports for management approval.
- Maintain vendor database, purchase records, and procurement documentation.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
- Experience in purchasing materials related to Laminates, Plywood, Sunmica, MDF, Particle Board, Decorative Sheets, Adhesives, or allied products will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP software.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple vendors simultaneously.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Purchase Executive in the Laminates, Plywood, Sunmica, Building Materials, Furniture, Interior Products, or Manufacturing Industry.
- Candidates residing in or willing to work in Paharganj, Delhi will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing procurement.
- Strong vendor network within the laminates/plywood/building materials industry.
- Cost-conscious with excellent negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently.
