About the Role
Vivasvat Revolutions Ltd is looking for a meticulous and knowledgeable SOC 2 Compliance Specialist to support our compliance initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the organization meets and sustains SOC 2 standards by strengthening internal controls, processes, and documentation. This opportunity is well-suited for professionals seeking flexible, part-time engagement in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of the SOC 2 compliance framework, aligned with Trust Service Criteria (Security, Availability, Confidentiality, etc.)
- Perform gap assessments to evaluate current processes and recommend necessary improvements
- Develop, review, and maintain compliance-related policies, procedures, and control documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational compliance readiness
- Track and monitor compliance activities, control performance, and remediation progress
- Assist in internal and external audit processes, including coordination with auditors
- Ensure proper maintenance of audit evidence and documentation
- Promote awareness of compliance standards and best practices across the organization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with SOC 2 compliance, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory frameworks
- Strong understanding of information security concepts and risk management practices
- Experience in audit preparation, control documentation, and compliance reporting
- Familiarity with compliance management tools and security controls
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage responsibilities in a part-time role
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor
- Experience working in startups or technology-driven organizations
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
