Position: South Indian Cook

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated South Indian Cook to prepare fresh, hygienic, and nutritious meals for approximately 150 employees in our corporate office. The candidate should have hands-on experience in cooking large quantities of food and be comfortable operating an induction stove and commercial kitchen equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook South Indian breakfast and lunch dishes for around 150 employees.
- Plan and prepare menus in coordination with the management.
- Ensure food is cooked on time and served fresh.
- Operate and maintain induction stoves and other kitchen equipment safely.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in the kitchen.
- Monitor and manage kitchen inventory, including vegetables, groceries, and other ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Follow company guidelines on hygiene and safety standards.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and pantry staff for smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a cook, preferably in a corporate office, canteen, or large-scale kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including breakfast items, rice varieties, curries, sambar, rasam, and other traditional dishes.
- Experience cooking for 100+ people is preferred.
- Ability to operate induction stoves and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Punctual, disciplined, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of basic inventory management and menu planning.
- Ability to prepare occasional North Indian dishes is an added advantage.
- Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

Compensation: As per company standards and experience.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
