Job Summary
Nexora Academy is seeking dynamic, energetic, and result-oriented Academic Counsellors who can guide prospective students towards suitable career-oriented courses and successfully convert inquiries into admissions. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong passion for student counselling and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, certifications, placements, and educational pathways.
- Handle walk-in inquiries, phone calls, WhatsApp leads, social media inquiries, and online admissions.
- Conduct follow-ups on leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, and educational events.
- Explain course features, fee structures, scholarship opportunities, and educational loan facilities.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, counselling sessions, admissions, and follow-up activities in CRM systems.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets assigned by the management.
- Coordinate with academic, placement, and operations teams for seamless student onboarding.
- Participate in educational fairs, seminars, career guidance programs, and promotional activities.
- Ensure excellent student experience throughout the admission process.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the reporting manager.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification
- Candidates who have completed Plus Two (+2) or any Degree can apply.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
Preferences
- candidates with excellent communication skills, strong speaking ability, confidence, and a high level of professionalism are also encouraged to apply.
Experience
- 1 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Education Sales, Admission Counselling, Telecalling, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong presentation and persuasion abilities.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to handle objections and close admissions effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
- Target-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Professional telephone etiquette and follow-up skills.
