· 1. Manuscript Conversion & Structuring
- Convert MS Word manuscripts into XML (JATS / BITS / NLM /custom DTDs).
- Convert PDf / Other source files to Word (DocBooks)
- Perform Word-to-XML and XML-to-Word conversions as per client specifications.
- Apply proper tagging for Front matter (title, authors, affiliations, abstracts), Body content (headings, paragraphs, lists, tables), Back matter (references, appendices, acknowledgments), Structure references and citations accurately.
2. XML Validation & Quality Control
- Validate XML files against DTD/XSD schemas.
- Understanding of DTDs (JATs/ BITs/ NLM / HUBxml etc) and Validation Tools
- Ensure compliance with publisher style guides.
- Identify and fix tagging errors, broken links, and metadata inconsistencies.
- Cross-check converted output against source manuscript.
3. Formatting & Output Generation
- Generate outputs such as PDF for proofing, ePub, HTML.
- Ensure layout integrity during conversion.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
