Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Oversee the smooth operation and daily continuous running of all plant utility systems, ensuring zero downtime for production blocks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage both breakdown and preventive maintenance (PMR) schedules for critical utility equipment, including:
- Boilers & Steam Systems (Non-IBR / IBR compliance)
- Chilling Plants & Brine Units (Vapor Compression / Absorption systems)
- Air Compressors (Screw type, oil-free) and Dryers
- Cooling Towers and Water Circulation Pumps
- Water Treatment Plants (RO, DM, and Softening plants)
- Log Sheet & Documentation: Maintain precise daily operational logbooks, power consumption records, and water tracking sheets. Ensure all maintenance history cards are updated.
- Energy Efficiency: Monitor and optimize utility consumption parameter metrics (steam-to-fuel ratios, specific power consumption of chillers/compressors) to minimize operational costs.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full compliance with factory safety protocols, work permit systems (Height pass, Confined space, Hot work), and pollution control board norms (including ETP/STP monitoring support).
- Inventory Control: Maintain stock levels for critical utility spares, lubricants, fuel, and water treatment chemicals to prevent emergency stockouts.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry Experience: 3 to 7 years
- Technical Edge: Knowledge of electrical systems and panels is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while fostering solid internal relationships
