Ishika Capital is seeking a persistent, professional, and result-oriented Loan Recovery Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for recovering overdue payments from customers while maintaining the company’s reputation and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiation skills, a firm yet polite communication style, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Monitor an assigned portfolio of overdue accounts and prioritize collections based on delinquency levels.
- Customer Outreach: Contact borrowers via telephone, email, and formal correspondence to remind them of overdue payments.
- Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans or settlements that are mutually beneficial for the company and the borrower.
- Compliance: Ensure all recovery processes follow RBI guidelines and fair practice codes.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on recovery targets and challenging cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in debt collection, tele-calling, or credit recovery (NBFC experience is a plus).
- Education: Graduate in any stream; a background in Finance or Commerce is preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Hindi and English.
- Technical Proficiency: Basic knowledge of MS Excel and experience working with financial software/LMS.
- Attributes: High level of patience, persuasive negotiation skills, and a strong work ethic.
