Senior Power BI & SQL Developer

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust business intelligence solutions using Power BI and SQL. The Senior Power BI Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT professionals to transform data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop data models, DAX queries, and measures to support analytical needs.
- Create interactive and user-friendly dashboards to visualize business data.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.

Primary Skills:

Power BI (O365 Cloud) – 6 Years minimum

- - Power Query
  - Power Pivot
  - DAX
  - RDL and pBix reports’/dashboards’ development and maintenance
  - Data Gateway
  - Workspace and permissions management
  - Licensing models
  - Documentation

MS SQL (Azure Cloud) – 6 Years minimum

- - Norms/Denoms/Facts and measures
  - Stored Procedures
  - Views
  - Query Optimization

Secondary Skills:

- Full stack (Visualization and database)
- Source control (Git)
- JIRA

Other Details:

Location: Bangalore, Work from Quadwave Office Only

Working Hours: UK time 9AM to 6PM (Note that UK time changes during summer.)
