Job Summary
Global Indian International School (GIIS) is seeking a dedicated and student-focused University Counsellor to guide students in their higher education and career planning. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of university admissions, excellent counselling skills, and the ability to support students throughout the application process.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide students on higher education and career planning.
- Assist with university selection, applications, essays, and documentation.
- Organize university fairs, counselling sessions, and career guidance programs.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities and admission representatives.
- Keep students and parents informed about admission requirements, deadlines, and scholarship opportunities.
- Maintain accurate student records and counselling reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in university or career counselling preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills.
