As a Healthcare Sales Associate (Retail Pharmacy), you play a crucial role in ensuring the effective functioning of pharmacy sales operations within a healthcare or retail pharmacy setting. Your primary responsibility is to support the sale and distribution of pharmaceutical and healthcare products while maintaining high standards of patient care, customer service, and regulatory compliance.
In the Indian healthcare environment, this role requires strict adherence to pharmacy regulations, ethical handling of medicines, and a clear understanding of prescription-based dispensing practices. You will work closely with pharmacists, doctors, and administrative staff to ensure that patients receive the correct medications in a timely and professional manner.
From a broader global perspective, this role aligns with retail pharmacy operations and healthcare product sales, where emphasis is placed on customer engagement, product knowledge, operational efficiency, and compliance with healthcare standards.
You are expected to maintain a balance between achieving sales targets and ensuring patient safety, while contributing to a well-organized, efficient, and customer-focused pharmacy environment.
A. Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver an exceptional customer experience by providing professional guidance on healthcare and OTC products
2. Collaborate with licensed pharmacists to support accurate and compliant prescription processing
3. Oversee end-to-end billing operations, including invoicing, payment processing, and financial record management
4. Ensure optimal inventory control through effective stock management, expiry monitoring, and quality assurance practices
5. Uphold high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and operational excellence within the pharmacy
6. Partner with cross-functional teams to drive seamless operations and enhance service delivery
7. Proactively address customer queries and resolve concerns to ensure a superior patient experience
B. Requirements
1. Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline preferred
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset
3. Working knowledge of pharmaceutical products and prescription handling practices
4. Proficiency in billing systems, POS platforms, and MS Office applications
5. Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, performance-driven environment
6. High level of accuracy, integrity, and adherence to regulatory and ethical standards
7. Collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
