Job Details
Job Overview: The engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities related to the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) during their assigned shift. They ensure that the MES is functioning properly, monitor real-time data, provide technical assistance to operators, troubleshoot system-related issues, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision & Coordination:
- Supervise and guide MES support staff during the assigned shift.
- Ensure that MES support activities are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor MES system performance and ensure minimal downtime or disruptions in production.
- System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
- Proactively monitor MES operations, identifying and resolving system issues or disruptions.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to MES software hardware.
- Coordinate with IT, engineering, and other departments to resolve complex system issues.
- Operator Support:
- Provide technical support to production operators using the MES system.
- Assist operators in navigating the MES interface, data entry, and troubleshooting system-related problems.
- Train new operators or shift personnel on the MES system's functionalities and best practices.
- Communication & Reporting:
- Act as the primary point of contact for MES issues during the shift, providing quick response to system-related problems.
- Document MES incidents, issues, and resolutions accurately for tracking and analysis purposes.
- Prepare and deliver shift handover reports to the next shift supervisor.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations within MES.
- Work with the MES development team and other departments to implement updates and improvements.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure MES operations comply with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Oversee and ensure adherence to data security protocols within the MES system.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
