About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and career-driven individuals to join our McDonald's restaurant team in Chennai as Trainee Managers. This role provides structured training in restaurant operations, customer service, team leadership, food safety, and business management, preparing candidates for future leadership positions within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Restaurant Operations
- Learn and oversee daily restaurant operations across front counter, dining area, drive-thru (where applicable), and kitchen.
- Ensure adherence to McDonald's operational standards, processes, and service excellence.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, quality, and operational efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Support restaurant shift operations and manpower planning.
- Assist in coaching, training, and motivating crew members.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and workplace standards.
Customer Experience
- Deliver outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve concerns professionally.
- Ensure prompt and friendly service during all operating hours.
Food Safety & Compliance
- Follow and enforce food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
- Participate in audits and operational reviews.
Inventory & Business Management
- Assist in inventory control and stock management.
- Monitor product quality and minimize wastage.
- Support restaurant performance goals related to sales, service, and profitability.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of work experience are welcome to apply.
- Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Good interpersonal and leadership potential.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Basic computer knowledge.
