Each clinic is supported by trained staff and a network of 25+ village-based MedoMITRs. MedoPlus is a recipient of FICCI Healthcare Excellence Award 2024, Sankalp Award 2024, and Swiss Re Foundation Award 2023. The organization aims to scale to 100 clinics across India in the next 3 years.
Job Summary
The Procurement & Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing pharmacy and optical operations across all clinics, including procurement, inventory management, regulatory compliance, sales growth, staff training, and business development. The role focuses on ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage procurement and sourcing of medicines, optical products, medical devices, and clinic consumables.
· Develop and maintain relationships with vendors; negotiate pricing and ensure timely procurement.
· Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, minimize expiries, and ensure accurate stock records.
· Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, licenses, SOPs, storage standards, and statutory requirements.
· Drive pharmacy and optical sales through pricing, product mix, promotional activities, and customer engagement.
· Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion initiatives to increase revenue.
· Train and mentor pharmacists, optical staff, and clinic teams on product knowledge, SOPs, inventory management, compliance, and customer service.
· Monitor pharmacy performance through MIS reports, sales analysis, and key operational metrics.
· Coordinate with Operations, Finance, HR, and Clinic Teams to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
Qualifications & Experience
· B.Pharm/M.Pharm preferred (MBA in Marketing/Operations is an added advantage).
· 5–8 years of experience in pharmacy operations, procurement, inventory management, or healthcare business development.
· Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, supply chain management, and retail/hospital pharmacy operations.

The Pharmacy & Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, inventory optimization, business growth, and the continuous development of pharmacy and optical teams across all MedoPlus clinics.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
