Position: Mill Wright Fitter
We are looking for experienced and skilled Mill Wright Fitters with strong expertise in mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting of mineral processing and grinding plant equipment.
Candidate Profile
✔ Experience: 8–10 Years
✔ Preferred Industry: Cement Plant, Mineral Processing Plant, Quartz/Feldspar Industry, Ball Mill Grinding Units
✔ Qualification: ITI Fitter / Mechanical Trade Preferred
✔ Preferred Age: 40–45 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance of ball mills, separators, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, belt conveyors, rotary airlocks, screens, pumps, blowers, and other plant equipment.
- Alignment of motors, gearboxes, couplings, pulleys, rollers, and rotating machinery.
- Bearing replacement, seal replacement, gearbox inspection, lubrication, and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mineral grinding and processing machinery.
- Support fabrication, fitting, welding coordination, and equipment modifications.
- Inspect and rectify issues related to vibration, overheating, leakage, abnormal sound, and mechanical wear.
- Assist during plant shutdowns, equipment overhauling, and major maintenance activities.
- Maintain safety standards and housekeeping practices.
- Coordinate effectively with electricians, welders, operators, and supervisors to ensure smooth plant operations.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in mechanical fitting and industrial plant maintenance
- Sound knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, gearboxes, couplings, alignment, and lubrication systems
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
- Experience in cement or mineral grinding plants preferred
- Ability to independently handle breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting
- Safety-conscious, disciplined, and responsible professional
