Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to drive elevator sales, build strong customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, and support the sales team in achieving monthly and annual targets. The ideal candidate should have experience in elevator sales, construction, or building materials and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development:-
- Generate new leads through builders, architects, consultants, contractors, and direct customer interactions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate to close sales.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand business.
Customer Relationship Management:-
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable elevator solutions.
- Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales cycle.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction before and after order confirmation.
Sales Coordination:-
- Coordinate with design, production, installation, and service teams.
- Ensure accurate order documentation and project handover.
- Monitor project progress and update customers regularly.
- Support payment collections according to agreed milestones.
Reporting
- Maintain CRM and daily sales reports.
- Submit daily visit reports and weekly activity reports.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in elevator sales or related industries.
- Experience in handling B2B and B2C customers.
- Knowledge of elevator products and industry practices is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer relationship management.
- Technical understanding of elevators.
- Proposal preparation and commercial negotiation.
- Market analysis and business development.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license preferred.
