Job Summary
Alternate Fuel Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated CNG Mechanical Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining CNG vehicle systems while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service CNG kits on vehicles according to company and safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in CNG fuel systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
- Test CNG components for proper operation and identify faults.
- Repair or replace defective components such as regulators, cylinders, valves, injectors, and pipelines.
- Ensure all installations comply with applicable safety regulations.
- Maintain service records and complete job documentation.
- Support customers by explaining maintenance requirements and safe system operation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop.
- Coordinate with the service team to complete jobs on schedule.
Requirements
- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in CNG, LPG, or automobile mechanical service (freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and CNG fuel systems.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and automotive systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
