Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated EHS Sr. Officer / Executive to strengthen our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) practices. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, driving safety awareness, and implementing EHS systems and processes across the plant. Candidates with relevant industry experience and knowledge of statutory requirements will be preferred.
Job Description
1. Safety Management
· Conduct daily Safety Toolbox Talks (TBTs).
· Implement and monitor the Work Permit System (PTS).
· Ensure strict PPE compliance across the site.
· Conduct safety trainings for employees and contractors.
· Carry out incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
· Conduct firefighting drills and ensure firefighting system readiness.
2. Statutory Compliance (DISH & GPCB)
· Prepare and maintain statutory forms: Form 9, 10, 11 & 37 (DISH).
· Manage Form D2, 4 & 5 submissions (GPCB).
· Ensure compliance with all EHS-related statutory requirements.
· Liaise with statutory bodies during inspections/audits.
3. Environmental Management
· Manage hazardous waste handling, storage, disposal & documentation.
· Operate and monitor the OCEMS (Online Continuous Emission Monitoring System).
· Ensure adherence to pollution control norms and guidelines.
· Support implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives.
4. EHS Systems & Continuous Improvement
· Support in implementation of EHS management systems (ISO, OHSAS/ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
· Monitor EHS KPIs and report performance to management.
· Identify unsafe acts/conditions and drive corrective/preventive actions.
· Participate in internal audits, mock drills, and safety campaigns.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
· Collaborate with production, maintenance, and procurement teams for safe operations.
· Engage with contractors and workforce to ensure compliance with site EHS rules.
· Assist EHS Manager in driving company-wide safety initiatives.

Technical Skills & Competencies:
· Knowledge of EHS regulations, DISH & GPCB compliances.
· Proficiency in Work Permit System & PPE implementation.
· Experience in incident reporting & root cause analysis.
· Hands-on experience in hazardous waste management and OCEMS.
· Ability to conduct safety trainings & awareness sessions.
· Familiarity with firefighting equipment & emergency preparedness.
· Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Education & Experience
Educational Qualification:
· B.Sc. Chemistry / B.E. (Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical) + PDIS (RLI/MGLI)
Experience:
· 2–3 years in Chemical / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Engineering sector.
· Industry background in fertilizer/chemical sector preferred.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
