- Planning & Scheduling: Developing production schedules, setting timelines, and determining material/resource requirements.
- Operational Oversight: Monitoring the production process, adjusting schedules as needed, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Quality & Cost Control: Setting quality standards, conducting inspections, and controlling costs to ensure profitable production.
- Team Leadership: Supervising, mentoring, and evaluating production staff to maximize efficiency and maintain safety.
- Maintenance & Efficiency: Overseeing equipment maintenance, minimizing downtime, and implementing improvements for increased efficiency.
- Collaboration: Liaising with purchasing, sales, and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment with textile background.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred.
