About the Role
Are you passionate about web development and experienced in building modern eCommerce experiences?
Snippet Commerce 360 Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and motivated Shopify Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Shopify theme development, Liquid, frontend technologies, and eCommerce website customization.
As part of our development team, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world Shopify projects, customize online stores, develop responsive user interfaces, implement new features, integrate Shopify apps, and solve technical challenges.
You will work closely with designers, developers, and project teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and visually engaging eCommerce experiences.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores and themes.
- Build modern, responsive, and user-friendly web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid.
- Customize Shopify sections, templates, snippets, and theme components.
- Convert UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect and responsive Shopify implementations.
- Ensure websites provide a consistent and optimized experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in existing Shopify stores.
- Install, configure, and integrate Shopify apps and third-party solutions as required.
- Manage store configurations, products, collections, navigation, and other settings through Shopify Admin.
- Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and improvements for Shopify stores.
- Optimize Shopify websites for performance, usability, and responsive design.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects within defined timelines.
- Follow clean coding practices and contribute to maintaining scalable and reusable code.
What We're Looking For
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong understanding of Shopify and Shopify Admin.
- Good knowledge of Shopify Liquid and Shopify theme architecture.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify theme customization, including sections, templates, snippets, and layouts.
- Good understanding of eCommerce websites and online store functionality.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving Shopify-related issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to understand project requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Good to Have
It would be an advantage if you have experience or familiarity with:
- Shopify Online Store 2.0
- Shopify apps and third-party integrations
- Git and version control systems
- Converting Figma or other UI/UX designs into Shopify pages
- Basic SEO principles for eCommerce websites
- Website performance optimization
- Shopify store speed optimization
- Custom Shopify functionality and third-party API integrations
