Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
■ Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on confirmed sales orders, forecasts, and capacity availability.
■ Develop machine-wise and line-wise production schedules to optimize manpower and machine utilization.
■ Monitor and balance the workload across production lines to avoid bottlenecks and idle capacity.
■ Coordinate with the Sales/Order Management team to align production schedules with customer delivery timelines.
Material & Inventory Coordination
■ Work with Procurement and Stores teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials (fabric, accessories, packaging, etc.) for uninterrupted production.
■ Track raw material and WIP (Work-in-Progress) inventory levels and raise indents to avoid shortages or excess stock.
■ Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve material shortages or quality holds impacting the plan.
Monitoring & Control
■ Track daily production output against plan and analyze deviations, downtime, and delays.
■ Identify bottlenecks in the production process and coordinate corrective actions with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
■ Re-plan and re-schedule production in response to machine breakdowns, manpower shortages, or urgent orders.
■ Ensure adherence to production SOPs, safety norms, and quality standards across the shop floor.
Reporting & MIS
■ Prepare and circulate daily production reports, capacity utilization reports, and order status (OTIF – On Time In Full) reports to management.
■ Maintain accurate data on production output, rejections, downtime, and efficiency for MIS and management review.
■ Support monthly production planning meetings with data-backed insights and recommendations.
Coordination & Continuous Improvement
■ Liaise with Pre- production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, Dispatch, and Sales teams to ensure smooth order execution end-to-end.
■ Participate in capacity planning exercises for new product introductions or order ramp-ups.
■ Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce lead time, and minimize wastage.
Required Skills & Competencies
■ Strong understanding of production planning concepts – capacity planning, line balancing, scheduling, and material requirement planning (MRP).
■ Hands-on experience with ERP/production planning software (Tally ERP, SAP or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.
■ Proficient knowledge of Advance Excel is preferable
■ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
■ Excellent coordination and communication skills to work across cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, Sales).
■ Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices is an added advantage.
■ Ability to work in a fast-paced shop floor environment and manage multiple priorities.
Experience & Qualification
■ 4–5 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control in a manufacturing environment (furniture, textile, outdoor products, or similar industry preferred).
■ Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering; MBA in Operations is preferred but not mandatory.
■ Prior exposure to make-to-order (MTO) and batch production environments will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
