Job Summary
A C Licensed Electrician performs electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work for residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. The role includes diagnosing electrical faults, installing wiring and equipment, conducting inspections, and ensuring all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.
- Install and connect lighting systems, distribution boards, circuit breakers, and electrical panels.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Test electrical systems using appropriate measuring and diagnostic instruments.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and workplace safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency electrical breakdowns and carry out timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C Electrician License (as required by local regulations).
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical projects.
- Familiarity with generators, motors, transformers, and electrical control panels is an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Work in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- May require working at heights, in confined spaces, or outdoors.
- Availability for shift work, overtime, or emergency call-outs may be required.
- Must follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pay: ₹8,337.50 - ₹35,000.00 per month
