Qualification
- MBBS from a recognized medical college
- Valid Registration with State Medical Council / National Medical Commission
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Experience
- 0–3 years clinical experience in a hospital setup preferred
- Freshers may be considered depending on hospital policy
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Patient Care
- Examine patients and provide initial assessment and treatment.
- Monitor patient condition and ensure timely medical care.
- Assist consultants during medical procedures and rounds.
2. Emergency Management
- Handle emergency cases and provide immediate medical care.
- Stabilize patients before transferring to ICU or other departments.
- Respond promptly to Code Blue / emergency calls.
3. Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and treatment notes.
- Ensure proper documentation in case sheets, treatment charts, and medical reports.
4. Coordination with Departments
- Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and other departments for patient care.
- Inform consultants about critical cases and patient condition changes.
5. Medication & Treatment
- Prescribe medications according to hospital policy and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure safe and appropriate medication administration.
6. Patient Communication
- Explain diagnosis, treatment plans, and procedures to patients and relatives.
- Maintain empathetic and professional communication.
7. Infection Control & Safety
- Follow hospital infection control policies and safety protocols.
- Ensure proper biomedical waste management practices.
8. Compliance with Hospital Policies
- Follow hospital policies and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement activities, and training programs.
9. Shift Duties
- Work in rotational shifts including day, night, and emergency duties.
- Ensure smooth functioning of medical services during assigned duty hours.
