Job Description – Accountant (Construction Industry)
Position: Accountant
Industry: Construction / Real Estate
Experience Required: 6-8 Years
Location: Lucknow
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations related to construction projects and company accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of vouchers, invoices, receipts, payments, and bank transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Prepare GST reports, TDS entries, reconciliations, and other statutory compliance-related documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization support.
- Maintain vendor and contractor payment records.
- Coordinate with internal departments for billing, purchase entries, and payment approvals.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist management with MIS reports and financial data preparation.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all accounting processes.
Required Skills & Software Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation basics.
- Proficiency in Tally and Farvision ERP preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reports.
- Ability to handle construction-related accounting work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 6 years of accounting experience.
- Prior experience in a construction or real estate company is preferred.
- Professional, disciplined, and responsible working attitude.
- Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.
Qualification:
- B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
