Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented English Editor to join our team in Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi. The ideal candidate will have strong command of the English language, excellent editing and proofreading abilities, and experience ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and readability across various formats.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, proofread, and review content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and clarity.
- Ensure content adheres to company guidelines, editorial standards, and brand voice.
- Improve content structure, flow, and readability while maintaining the original meaning.
- Fact-check information and verify content accuracy when required.
- Collaborate with writers, content creators, and other stakeholders to enhance content quality.
- Review and approve final drafts before publication or distribution.
- Maintain consistency across articles, blogs, reports, marketing materials, and other written communications.
- Manage multiple editing assignments while meeting deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or a related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in editing, proofreading, or content review.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, style guides, and editorial best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and content management systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital publishing, content marketing, education, media, or publishing industries.
- Familiarity with SEO content editing and web publishing standards.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback to writers and content contributors.
