Role - Assistant Manager - Quality
Education - Diploma in Mechanical/Production Eng/Automobile Eng
Experience: 10 + yrs up to 20 yrs
Industry - Automobile components Mfg.
Technical Skill Set
- ·Good working knowledge on various manufacturing processes such as metal forming, machining, welding etc. and Assembly techniques.
- Knowledge on surface preparation such as painting will be an added advantage
- Shall be familiar with ferrous as well as non ferrous metals such as Brass, Bronze, and Aluminum etc.
- Comprehensive working knowledge on Quality systems such as IATF 16949 and EMS 14001, preferable to have internal auditor certification
- Must be familiar with Poka Yoke, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Quality circles etc.
- Must have working knowledge on FMEA, APQP, PPAP and 8D procedures
- Shall possess good understanding and implementation of SPC techniques
- Familiarity with Six Sigma, QFD, DOE will be added advantage
Managerial Skill Set
- Shall be handling QA functions in Mid size auto parts mfg company
- Shall be directly handling automotive OEM customers such as TML, AL, M&M, FORD, FIAT, and MSIL etc.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills so as to handle the QA teams, CFT and Customers
Computer and Soft skills
- MS Office
- Working with teams
- Good presentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Incoming, In process and Final inspection
- Customer complaint handling & Warranty analysis
- Process audits, Product audits and Customer Audits
- Active involvement in New product development
- Manage QA teams and maintain work discipline
- Supplier development
- Continuous improvement to achieve zero ppm (Customer, Inprocess, Incoming)
- Manage QMS & EMS systems (IATF 16949, EMS 14001)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹780,000.00 per year
