We are looking for a skilled and motivated WordPress + PHP Developer to join our core development team. In this role, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating custom WordPress themes and plugins, managing database integrations, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of client applications.
This role is ideal for a developer who has a strong grasp of core PHP, loves building clean web structures, and is eager to work on diverse client projects that challenge their technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Custom Development: Develop, test, and deploy clean, well-structured custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
- Backend Architecture: Write robust, secure, and reusable core PHP code for custom web applications and integrations.
- Frontend Integration: Convert Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript within the WordPress ecosystem.
- Website Optimization: Diagnose and fix bugs, improve website loading speeds, and optimize database queries for maximum efficiency.
- API Integration: Integrate third-party tools, payment gateways, CRM software, and REST APIs into web applications.
- Maintenance & Security: Perform regular website updates, core backups, and implement security best practices to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and SEO teams to meet project deadlines and technical requirements.
Required Skills
- Core Languages: Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (jQuery), HTML5, and CSS3.
- WordPress Architecture: Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, Hooks, Actions, Filters, Custom Post Types, and the Template Hierarchy.
- Responsive Design: Expertise in building mobile-first websites using frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.
- Version Control: Solid experience using Git / GitHub for code repository management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills using tools like Chrome DevTools or Xdebug.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor Pro, WPBakery) and Gutenberg block development.
- Basic understanding of SEO technical practices (site speed, schema markup, Core Web Vitals).
- Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel or CodeIgniter).
- Familiarity with Linux server management, cPanel, and AWS/DigitalOcean hosting environments.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, BCA, or a related technical field. (Equivalent practical experience or a proven portfolio of live projects will be highly valued).
Experience Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
- Talented freshers with strong internship experience and a solid portfolio of live projects are also encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹11,096.13 - ₹36,198.85 per month
