We are looking for an energetic, knowledgeable, and client-focused Gym Trainer / Fitness Trainer to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about fitness, confident in guiding members, and able to create safe and effective workout programmes based on individual fitness goals.
1–3 years of experience as a Gym Trainer/Fitness Trainer preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct fitness assessments and understand clients’ fitness goals.
- Design personalised workout and training programmes.
- Demonstrate correct exercise techniques and ensure proper form.
- Guide members through strength, cardio, functional and flexibility exercises.
- Monitor clients’ progress and make appropriate changes to training programmes.
- Motivate and encourage members to maintain consistent workout routines.
- Ensure gym equipment and training areas are used safely.
- Maintain a clean, professional and welcoming training environment.
- Build positive relationships with gym members and provide excellent customer service.
- Support the gym team with member engagement, fitness events and other assigned activities.
Requirements
- Certification in Personal Training, Fitness Training or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Gym Trainer, Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training and basic nutrition.
- Ability to motivate and work with clients of different fitness levels.
- Professional, punctual and positive attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends if required.
