MUST HAVE
- 6+ years full stack development with demonstrable lead or architect experience
- Strong React / TypeScript frontend — component architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, or Context API), Vite/CRA build pipelines
- Strong Python backend — FastAPI or Flask, async patterns, REST API design, OpenAPI specs • GCP hands-on: Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL

- CI/CD design and implementation from scratch — branching strategy, PR gates, environment promotion (Dev → QA → Staging → Prod)
- Security-first mindset: private VPC design, Cloud IAP, RBAC implementation, no-hardcoded-secrets discipline
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture — tenant isolation, per-tenant data boundaries, subscription / feature entitlement logic
- Integration with external REST/SOAP APIs and LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Vertex AI, or equivalent)
- Data handling: relational DB (Cloud SQL / PostgreSQL), BigQuery or equivalent analytics store, understanding of data retention policies
- Working in Jira-driven 2-week agile sprints with a remote distributed team
- Excellent written async communication — daily updates, proactive blocker escalation, no silent risk NICE TO HAVE – Experience with multi-model LLM orchestration or prompt versioning in Git – Firebase Hosting or Cloud Storage + CDN for static React builds – Redis or Firestore for session/conversational state management – Familiarity with HIPAA / PII data handling requirements across US and Canada – Storybook for component library development – GitHub Copilot / Claude Code in daily development workflow – Experience building SaaS analytics or intelligence products in HR Tech, FinTech, or data-heavy domains
