About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our team as a Fundraising, Grants & Strategic Growth Intern. The intern will work directly with the leadership team on investor outreach, fundraising initiatives, market research, partnership development, and strategic business opportunities.
This role offers hands-on exposure to startup fundraising, investor relations, business strategy, and growth planning.

Key Responsibilities
Investor & Funding Outreach
- Identify and research relevant investors, VCs, angel investors, incubators, accelerators, and grant opportunities.
- Build and maintain investor databases and outreach pipelines.
- Assist in preparing investor communication and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and discussions with potential investors.
Pitch Deck & Fundraising Support
- Assist in creating and refining pitch decks, investment memorandums, and fundraising materials.
- Conduct competitor analysis and market validation research to strengthen fundraising narratives.
- Support financial and business data collection required for investor discussions.
Grant Writing & CSR Partnerships
- Research grant opportunities, CSR funding programs, foundations, and development-sector funding opportunities.
- Support preparation of grant applications, concept notes, proposals, and donor reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather impact data, beneficiary stories, field photos, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain grant application trackers, reporting deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in developing CSR partnership proposals and outreach materials.
Impact Documentation
- Assist in documenting project outcomes, impact metrics, success stories, and case studies.
- Support preparation of donor reports, impact summaries, and organizational profiles.
Research & Strategic Analysis
- Research funding trends across startup, CSR, agriculture, rural development, climate-tech, and social impact sectors.
- Analyze competitors, business models, and investment landscapes.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management decision-making.
- Track government schemes, accelerator programs, incubation opportunities, and grant announcements.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Identify potential strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
- Explore corporate, government, and institutional opportunities that align with company goals.
- Support outreach efforts to potential partners and stakeholders.
Presentation & Communication
- Create professional presentations, reports, and business proposals.
- Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Support leadership in preparing for investor meetings, events, and pitch sessions.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields, Rural Development, Agriculture, Public policy, social sciences.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create impactful presentations (PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides).
- Familiarity with startup ecosystems, fundraising, venture capital, or entrepreneurship is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong proposal writing and business writing skills.
- Ability to convert data and impact metrics into compelling narratives.
- Familiarity with startup fundraising, grants, CSR, social impact, or development sector preferred.
- Strong attention to detail while handling applications and documentation.
