About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Financial Advisor to join our UK Debt Solutions team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong understanding of the UK debt management industry, particularly the Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) process.
As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their financial circumstances, assessing their eligibility for debt solutions, and helping them make informed decisions that can lead to long-term financial stability.
In addition to advising customers, we are looking for someone who demonstrates leadership qualities and can step into a Team Lead role whenever required by supporting, mentoring, and guiding the team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle outbound interactions with customers providing debt solutions.
- Conduct detailed financial assessments to understand customers' income, expenditure, liabilities, and overall financial circumstances.
- Educate customers on available debt solutions, with a primary focus on the Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) process.
- Recommend suitable debt solutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and UK regulatory guidelines.
- Build trust with customers through empathetic, ethical, and professional communication.
- Maintain accurate and detailed customer records within the CRM system.
- Consistently achieve quality, compliance, and performance targets.
- Stay updated with changes in UK debt regulations and insolvency practices.
Leadership Responsibilities (When Required):
- Support the Operations Manager in day-to-day team management.
- Mentor and coach Financial Advisors to improve performance and quality.
- Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
- Monitor team productivity and provide constructive feedback.
- Handle customer escalations professionally and efficiently.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
- Act as the first point of contact for the team during the Team Lead's absence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Good and Relevant experience in the UK Debt Management, IVA, SME or Insolvency industry.
- Strong understanding of the UK IVA process and debt solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and active listening skills.
- Ability to analyse financial situations and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Strong customer service orientation with a compassionate and consultative approach.
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining high compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising a team.
