Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Digital Printing Machine Operator specializing in Solvent, Eco-Solvent and UV printing technologies to join our production team in Domlur, Bengaluru. You will handle the end-to-end process of setting up, operating and maintaining our advanced wide-format and flatbed digital printers. Your main focus will be translating digital designs onto various substrates (vinyl, canvas, acrylic, glass, and wood) while maintaining exceptional color accuracy and sharp print quality

- Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM (Sundays off)

- Reports To: Production Supervisor / Studio Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Setup and operate wide-format Solvent / Eco-Solvent roll-to-roll printers and UV Flatbed printers.
- Pre-press & File Prep: Review digital artwork files, check dimensions, and use RIP software (e.g., Onyx, Caldera, VersaWorks) to nest, tile and optimize jobs for print.
- Material Management: Load, align, and feed various media substrates including flex banner, vinyl, sunboard, acrylic and glass.
- UV & Ink Configuration: Manage ink levels, perform head alignments, and configure UV curing lamps based on material heat sensitivity and ink thickness requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Check first-off prints against digital proofs for color matching, gradient smoothness, banding issues and resolution clarity.
- Daily Maintenance: Execute mandatory printhead cleanings, nozzle checks, capping station wipes and flushing procedures to prevent ink clogging, especially on solvent and UV machines.
- Post-Print Handling: Safely unload prints and coordinate with the finishing department for lamination, plotting, or routing if required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma, ITI certificate, or diploma in Graphic Arts/Printing Technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 to 7 years of hands-on experience running digital wide-format solvent, eco-solvent or UV printers.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of RIP software and basic file handling in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CorelDRAW.
- Solid understanding of color profiles (ICC profiles) and print resolutions (DPI).
- Physical & Visual Skills:
- Exceptional color vision to detect minor shade variances.
- Physical ability to handle heavy rolls of media and stand for extended durations.
- Safety Awareness: Familiarity with ventilation safety and handling procedures for chemical solvents, eco-solvent inks, and UV curable fluids.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
