Job Title: Accounts Associate – US Operations
We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Associate – US Operations to manage core accounting operations for US-based clients. The role involves maintaining accurate books of accounts, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end closings, and contributing to reliable financial reporting.
This role is part of the Foundational FinOps layer, with exposure to client reporting and FP&A workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & General Ledger Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts
- Record daily transactions and journal entries
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of general ledger balances
Month-End Close & Reconciliations
- Perform bank, credit card, and loan account reconciliations
- Support timely and accurate month-end close
- Identify and resolve discrepancies proactively
AP / AR & Expense Management
- Manage vendor bills, payments, and customer invoicing
- Track collections, employee reimbursements, and expenses
- Ensure timely and organized AP/AR processing
Financial Reporting & Payroll Support
- Prepare financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
- Record payroll entries and support W-2 and 1099 processing
- Assist in preparing client-ready financial reports
Client Communication & Coordination
- Act as a point of contact for client queries related to accounting data
- Support client reporting with clear explanations and timely responses
- Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain fixed asset registers and calculate depreciation
- Ensure proper documentation for IRS, audit, and tax requirements
- Follow internal controls and compliance processes
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in US accounting and bookkeeping
- Good understanding of US accounting processes and month-end close
- Exposure to client reporting and client-facing communication
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Tech-savvy with experience in accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Detail-oriented with strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines
- High standards of confidentiality and data integrity
